Wesminster Abbey, London June 9th, 2015
The annual Informal Anglican-Orthodox Talks took this year place at the Westminster Abbey in London.
The delegation from the Ecumenical Patriarchate was conducted by His Eminence Archbishop Gregorios of Thyateira and Great-Britain, with the participation of Their Eminences Metropolitans Athenagoras of Belgium and Kallistos of Diokleia and Archbishop Job of Telmissos.
The Anglican delegation was lead by The Most Revd Roger Heft, Archbishop of Perth, Australia. During the discussions there were updates from both the Anglican and Orthodox Churches, reports about the official Anglican-Orthodox Dialogue, as well as of other bilateral dialogues and different other issues, as it is about the preparation of the Great and Holy Pan-Orthodox Council, to be organized in June 2016.
The talks were closed by a moment of prayer at the shrine of St Edward the Confessor, after the evening prayer in the Westminster Abbey Church.
